Programme OVERVIEW
The University offers undergraduate Programme in Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons./Research) to students after completion of their +2 examination to prepare young minds with a positive attitude for excellent performance. BBA (Hons./Research) course from one of the top colleges for BBA in Bhubaneswar helps the students to acquire skills in the early stage of their career as a management professional.
The BBA(Hons./Research) Programme is a four–year full time Programme spread over eight semesters of classroom interaction. With a well structured curriculum spanning over three years, the Programme provides ample scope to the students to gain comprehensive understanding on diverse aspects of business management and corporate functioning, and instills in them requisite skill and expertise to become true action leaders in a highly complex and competitive business environment.
ASBM University believes in holistic development of its students. Hence, in addition to studies and curricular activities, the students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities like conferences, seminars, lectures, debates, cultural Programme, social responsibility activities, games, festivals, etc at one of the top colleges for BBA in Bhubaneswar. - Arrangement for CAT/MAT and CA coaching in the campus, provided minimum viable number of students register for it. The normal fee structure of the Institute does not include this facility.
- Special coaching to the students staying in the Institute’s hostels. The coaching classes will be held after the normal class hours. No extra fee will be charged for it.
Course Curriculum
A student will undergo a minimum of 120 credits for three-year BBA programme or a minimum of 160 credits for four-year BBA honours with research. The courses have been classified into credits. The curriculum consists of major (core), minor stream, multidisciplinary, Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses, Summer Internship and/or Research Project/Dissertation.
Research/Dissertation
Students choosing a four-year Bachelor’s degree (Honours with Research) are required to take up research projects under the guidance of a faculty member in any functional area. The students are expected to complete the Research Project in the eighth semester. After the submission of the dissertation, there will be a viva voce examination.
