The Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) – MBA (TM) – provides a synergy between technology and management qualifications. It is a professional master’s degree that bridges the gap between the field of technology and the field of business management. MBA in Technology Management is a multidisciplinary field that involves the application of business methods and management expertise to technology companies, products, or processes. It combines a practical business approach with an in-depth technical track and emphasizes how to manage complex projects and people.
The aim of the Programme is to provide students with a basic and focused set of advanced business and management skills coupled with advanced skills in a specific technical area commensurate with students’ interests and likely technical employment. The combination of these advanced skills and knowledge will help students assimilate and integrate practical technical experience for the management of technology-based enterprises. In short, the Technology Management programme is expected to lead towards transformation from Project Member to Project Leader.

Course Curriculum
The Master of Business Administration (Technology Management) is a two-year full-time programme spread over four semesters of classroom interaction. The curriculum consists of 138 Credits. The candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a university recognised by UGC are eligible for this course/ programme. The curriculum consists of 90 credits of core papers, 40 credits of elective papers and 8 credits of summer internship programme.

FOR WHOM
- Passed with Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution or university.
- Minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent grade in the UGC 10 point scale in graduation is required for being eligible for this course.
- In the case of reserved category candidates, relaxation of 5% marks or equivalent grade is given as per UGC guidelines.
- Candidates should have good communication skills or the ability to express themselves verbally as well as in writing.

ELIGIBILITY
Qualified engineers who wish to enhance their knowledge and improve their managerial skills with full-time coursework. Students of any discipline who wish to carry out extended advanced study in management for leadership roles in their profession;
Admission to the MBA (TM) programme will be based on the results of any National level Management Entrance Test like CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT or ASBMUEE. Such candidates are required to appear for the GD & PI conducted by the University.
