ASBM University Hosts Grand Alumni Meet – Confluence 2025
On 8th February 2025, ASBM University celebrated its much-anticipated Alumni Meet – Confluence 2025 in a vibrant and nostalgic gathering of former and current students. The event, presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak, Honourable Founder and President of the University, brought together alumni from various batches, rekindling old bonds and fostering new connections.
The day commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak, who spoke about the emotional ties between the institution and its alumni. Reflecting on life’s journey, he emphasized defining success on one’s own terms rather than through conventional markers like wealth and career status. He reminisced about the university’s remarkable transformation, attributing its growth to the dedication of students across generations and visionary leadership. His words instilled pride and motivation among attendees.
Following the address, a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony symbolized the joy of reunion. Alumni shared heartfelt memories, expressing nostalgia for their student days while appreciating the university’s growth and its role in shaping their careers. An interactive session between alumni and current students provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and mentorship. A business meeting thereafter focused on strengthening alumni engagement and future collaborative initiatives.
The cultural program featured music, dance, and fun activities, adding energy and enthusiasm to the event. The university also felicitated the alumni with mementos as a token of appreciation for their achievements and enduring connection with ASBM.
The event concluded with valedictory remarks by Coordinator Prof. Arnab Sen, who expressed gratitude to all participants and reiterated the university’s commitment to nurturing its alumni community. The program was coordinated by Dr. Avijit Mondal and Prof. Arnab Sen. It witnessed the esteemed presence of Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ranjan Kumar Bal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Phalgu Niranjana, and Principal Director Prof. (Dr.) Smaraki Pattanayak, alongside Deans, Professors, faculty members, students, and a large number of alumni.
