To take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia, the second Alumni Meet, CONFLUENCE 2017, was inaugurated on 2nd December, 2017 with lighting the lamp of wisdom by the Director, ASBM, Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak along with Dean, ASBM, Prof. (Dr) Kalyan Shankar Ray, Alumni coordinator, Mr. B. Santosh Kumar, 2006-08 batch and Mr. Ajay Kumar Nanda, 2007-09 batch, Prof. M.N. Samantaray, Faculty Coordinator, alongwith the alumni of ASBM. The occasion was graced by Alumni in large number ranging across various batches from various parts of the country. Speaking on the occasion, the Director underlined and praised the achievements and Alumni of ASBM in all spheres of life within a short span of 11 years. He gave a vivid description about the evolution of the Institute and the hardship he took in the initial days. ASBM has taught the life learning’s to the students which is now helping them to lead their lives in their own ways. He felt that it was a matter of great pride for ASBM that its Alumni are holding positions of high responsibility.
The Inaugural session was followed by cultural Programme by our students and alumni. Great bonhomie was observed everywhere with old students reliving their old memories with their batch mates, seniors and juniors. Many of the current students got the scope for interacting with their pass out seniors and learning experiences from them. In all, the ambience was electric with people seen chatting and dancing in groups.
Welcome address was delivered by the coordinator, Mr. B. Santosh Kumar, and vote of thanks was presented by Mr.Ajay Kumar Nanda.The Meet ended with a promise to meet again and everyone bade emotional farewell to each other and their beloved ASBM.
