Pedagogic Utility

Theatre and film are powerful educational tools that bring learning to life. Through dramatization and storytelling, students develop communication skills, empathy, and cultural awareness.

Theatre a live performance art, acts as a microcosm of life making it a brilliant means of experiential learning across various disciplines. For example, a theatrical work involves the organization and execution of productions, which mirrors project management, leadership, and quality control in the business world. It’s collaborative nature also helps fosters teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Film as a preserved form of life provides a medium for visual learning and critical analysis. Thus, making it an excellent source of innovative and immersive case-studies for a variety of disciplines. An excellent case in point will be the Lagaan Movie Case Study Project by Honourable Prof. (Dr.) Biswajeet Pattanayak, Founder and President of our ASBM University, which utilized the movie to teach students HR processes like team building, leadership, talent sporting, talent acquisition, talent Management etc.

In this vein, by incorporating these arts into education, CTFE promotes active learning, creativity, and emotional engagement, making learning experiences more memorable and impactful.
